PAT-Cell-Force
The PAT-Cell-Force is a special operando test cell of the PAT series for the adjustment and measurement of the mechanical force applied on the cell stack.
1. Mechanical Force Control
- Adjustable and measurable mechanical force on the cell stack (up to 1500 N)
- Force can be set during assembly and monitored during cycling
2. Integrated Sensors
- Built-in temperature sensor
- Gas pressure sensor (0–3 bar abs.)
- Force sensor for monitoring applied pressure
3. Electrochemical Measurement
- Supports 2- and 3-electrode setups with ring-shaped reference electrode
- Compatible with both liquid and solid-state electrolytes
4. System Compatibility & Data Logging
- Operates with EL-CELL systems such as PAT-Tester-x-8
- All sensor data recorded and displayed through EL-Software
5. Design & Sealing
- Glass-to-metal sealed electrode feedthroughs
- Welded-in sensors for long-term stability
- Helium leak tested for high tightness
